Harry

A Foster for Life dog

Foster for Life dogs are among the few that for one reason or another cannot be adopted.  When we make the decision to take these dogs into our care, we make the commitment to keep them safe and loved for the rest of their lives.

Harry:  I haven’t really been around all that long – I was only born in March 2018, but with an array of medical issues that will be on-going and costly, I probably won’t be here for as long as most dogs, either. People scare me, too. It took more than six months for me to accept pats from my foster dad, but we’re good now. I’m doing better, learning to trust people, and I live happily with two other foster dogs. Our foster family puts in a lot of time and effort, but they mostly love us.

Because I’m so special, CBBR placed me in the Foster For Life programme with them, giving me a guaranteed safe and caring place for the rest of my life.
