Pops led a pretty sheltered life before being surrendered to the rescue. In her 8mths, she has had little exposure to the outside world, so can find new things quite overwhelming.
We moved her to foster care so she had more one on one training & could experience more things around her. She still finds meeting new people & dogs unsettling, but once she knows you are her friend, she is the most amazing dog you could ever meet. She cant get enough of having cuddles or just hanging out with you, or having a play with her dog mates - but this process does take time.
Pops needs an owner that can work with her to help get past her fear based issues in a positive way, so her fears are not reinforced. She will need a few home visits with prospective adopters to build that trust, which means her adoption process will be at a pace to suit Pops needs.
All our dogs are destined to be family dogs that sleep indoors with the rest of the family.
Pops is desexed, vaccinated, chipped & registered.
