Please read Hulks new-home requirement VERY carefully before you consider completing our application form.
Hulk is a strong teenage boy who is also fully deaf. He missed out on the integral foundational training that all puppies need, but that is especially crucial for dogs with specific needs.
Hulk is currently learning his own version of sign-language through hand signals. This means training is just a bit harder for the average owner & will take longer as everyone, including Hulk, adjusts.
Hulk requires an owner that has either deaf dog experience or proven extensive training skills. He becomes over-stimulated VERY easily. There is nothing nasty with his behaviour around this, but it is harder to manage with his size, his teenage mouthiness, & him relying on hand gestures for cues being deaf. He is still learning how to be on a lead, and his new owner will need to understand that this will take time.
At this stage of Hulks training, he needs to be a only pet. Hulk needs to be rehomed in Christchurch so any prospective adopter can spend a lot of time with him, we can do home visits with Hulk & also to ensure that his personally designed training programme is being followed.
All our dogs are destined to be family dogs that sleep indoors with the rest of the family.
Hulk is desexed, vaccinated, chipped & registered.
