Simba is our lovely old button boy!
He came into our care having had surgery on his eye that wasnt quite what he needed, so he was quickly taken back to the vet to get his eye sorted & part of his recovery was a button sown onto his eye for healing! The button has come off & the vet is really happy with how his eye is looking. He was lucky enough to be transferred from our post-op foster to long term foster care.
Simba is around 8 years old & was always a back yard dog, so living in foster care & having a couch to chill on & a foster mum to sleep with has been all new for him. His foster mum has said he has been an absolute dream in the home! He is happy to be left alone inside, loves car rides, loves playing with toys, great with kids & loves making new people friends who can give him bellys rubs.
He has met other dogs, but due to his lack of exposure can come in a bit rude, barks & does take him some time to settle. He does use his size in these moments, so does need a confident handler.
Simba is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered & like all our dogs is destined to be family dog that sleeps indoors with the rest of the family.
