Rua is the sweetest wee Staffy cross you can find!
She is around 5 years old & was a life chained dog before making her way to Hauraki Pound Pups & then to us in Christchurch.
She is the biggest softie & while she is not food motivated she is love driven, she will do anything for a pat or cuddle.
She is fantastic on lead, is selective with the dogs she likes but is definitely not suitable to live with cats. Her bestie from Hauraki Pound Pups, Stanley, has also made is way to us & they have loved having big plays together.
Being a life chained dog she does have some quirks - she will clear 6ft fencing, but once clear boundaries in place she can be trusted, so confinement is a must when left alone initially. When she gets overstimulated she can jump & get mouthy, but does stop immediately with a good clear correction. These are all behaviours that can easily be worked on in a home environment & we are happy to assist with training & guidance as needed.
This girl LOVES water, if there is a stream to jump, pool or big puddle to jump into, you will find her there!!
She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered & like all our dogs are destined to be family dog that sleeps indoors with the rest of the family.
