Pippa is a transfer from SPCA Christchurch, she has been in a foster home under SPCA care for around a year with the right home not finding her. We are hoping with her in our care we can find her that happy ever after.
She is an American Staffy cross, who is around 6 years old - she has the cutest wee corn chip ears!
She is in foster care with a male dog who she is fantastic with, however she can be defensive meeting new dogs & is your typical bull breed female, she likes to be in charge & wont put up with any bad behaviour from other dogs.
Her foster is currently bringing her to the rescue a couple of times a week to do duo walks with dogs on site. This is to give her more exposure to dogs in a controlled environment, so she can learn about regulating her emotions when she sees them. The positive changes we have seen in such a short period of time when seeing new dogs has been great - she will only get better with the more exposure she has.
She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered & like all our dogs are destined to be family dog that sleeps indoors with the rest of the family.
