Jax

Jax is a 11 week old Mastiff cross who has already been let down by people.  He was found dumped at a park & then spent 7 days at the pound for his owner to find him, but they never came.

He is looking for a family who understand his insecurities around being picked up when necessary, although being a large breed dog, this isn't something that is likely to occur often. This is getting better every day. He will receive ongoing training support from a member of our team.

Jax is incredibly bright and loves training in his foster home. He is currently living alongside an older dog and has had some successful playdates with younger dogs. Jax's ideal home will be active and interested in fulfilling his mental energy needs. Due to his current challenges with being picked up, he is best suited to a home with older children who can reliably follow rules and respect his space.

He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a friend at home. Jax is still a puppy, and does all the normal puppy things - don't let his size fool you! It can be easy to forget his young age due to his size, and an understanding of expectations for his age is important.

He is looking for a loving owner who is committed to giving the time, training, exposure & socialisation that a puppy needs.  We will not place puppies in a home where they are left alone for more than 4 hours a day until they are 6 months old, as they require regular feeding, day time company & environmental exposures.

Jax will be de-sexed, vaccinated, chipped & registered & like all our dogs is destined to be family dog that sleeps indoors with the rest of the family.
